Michela Windischgraetz: Bhutanese Law

Four hundred years after his arrival in Bhutan, Zhabdrung Nawang Namgyal’s legacy remains.  Despite the gradual shift from religious to secular rule in Bhutan, Buddhism is still central to Bhutanese life.

Professor Windischgraetz of the Austrian Academy of Sciences talked about the essence of Bhutanese law which goes back to the 17th and 18th Centuries.
