Royal Government of Bhutan National Assembly Elections – Dechen Rabgyal

Anticipating the elections for the National Assembly which will follow the end of the government's term (in November 2023), the society had a briefing on the parties (currently six are in contention) and their policies and the preparations for final vote.

Dechen Rabgyal, who is studying for a PhD in Politics and International Relations at the University of Westminster, gave an informative and clear run-down of how the elections work, who the parties are, what they stand for, who made it through the first round and how voters make their choices.
