A grant was awarded to pay for materials for the construction of a school path at Budhashi Primary School in Zemdang, this is particularly helpful during the monsoon season.  The labour was provided by parents of the school children and the community.

A further grant was given to Bhudhashi School, Zemdang for essential school equipment and improved access to water for the children.  Both of these projects were achieved in collaboration with the charity Opening Your Heart to Bhutan.

A new Bhutanese charity ‘The Bhutan Stroke Foundation’ was given a grant to help with the identification of this condition as early as possible by the public, so that appropriate help can be given, and to fund research by this fledgling charity.

Ketoka Primary School received funding for a new path through the school grounds.  This was achieved in collaboration with the charity Opening Your Heart to Bhutan.

Hope 108 was awarded a grant to help support disadvantaged school children in the country.

A grant given to Book Aid International funded shipping costs of 3,000 books to libraries with local partners: READ Bhutan, Royal University of Bhutan, RG University of Medical Sciences, and Royal Academy School.

Fencing was funded for the Draktsho East school to allow safe movement within the school and to protect the children with disabilities from incursion by wild animals. This was a collaboration with the charity Opening Your Heart To Bhutan.

A grant was given to the charity Phensem to furnish their new training and resource centre. This will host training programmes, house equipment and provide support for parents of children with special needs. It will also be a resource for parents to meet in and to access this equipment and the internet.

The Muenselling Institute (previously known as The School for the Blind) in Khaling received help with developing a learning park for the children. The area required levelling, fencing (to protect against the steep slope) and the creation of plinths with models of the local wild animals for the children to explore and become familiar with

Safe drinking water in primary schools project in collaboration with Opening Your Heart to Bhutan. This project will purchase, install and maintain water filters in two primary schools. This will benefit the 247 children and staff of Rangaytung Primary School and Chapcha Primary School.

Bhutan Books 2021 project to provide 4,000 new books for community libraries across Bhutan. The project is run in collaboration with Book Aid International who will select, supply and transport the books, and READ Bhutan, who organise local logistics and run the libraries. The 9 READ community centres are located across Bhutan and are Shemagangkha (Chukha), Yangthang (Haa), Mendhagang (Punakha), Ura (Bumthang), Khotakpa (Pemagatshel), Rongthong (Tashigang), Chuzegang (Sarpang), Panbang (Zhemgang) and Changjiji (Thimphu).

Goodwill grants to students from Bhutan remaining in the UK during lockdown as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.

A grant to Hope 108 to continue its support of disadvantaged schoolchildren at two schools in Haa.

3,000 new books for 9 community libraries in collaboration with Book Aid International (bookaid.org) and Rural Education and Development (READ Bhutan).

Higher and further education academic books for the Royal University of Bhutan, College of Natural Resources, Paro College of Education and medical textbooks and library books for the Khesar Gyalpo University of Medical Sciences.

50 new books for a small library at Gidakom Hospital for the TB isolation wards.

Equipment for Ability Bhutan centre including beanbags and art materials for the Ability Bhutan Centre, Thimphu.

Support for 10 boarding pupils at Haa schools, identified and in collaboration with Hope 108 to provide clothing, shoes, school uniform and essentials so pupils can attend as boarders.

Draktsho: a grant to support disabled and wheelchair access with a ramp for the disabled Draktsho school in Tashigang in collaboration with Opening Your Heart to Bhutan.

Provision of new children’s books (total 4500) providing 500 books for 9 community libraries run by READ Bhutan in Chukha, Haa, Punakha, Ura, Pemagatshel, Tashigang, Sarpang, Zhemgang, and Thimphu. This project was done in collaboration with READ Bhutan and Book Aid International who supplied the books and organised the freight. (bookaid.org).

Braille books for the school of visually impaired in Khaling, Tashigang (East Bhutan).

Equipment for disabled people: the Trust supported projects in 2014 and 2017 together with the UK charity, Physionet, to provide used physiotherapy equipment, including wheelchairs, to Bhutan. The equipment was distributed by the Disabled Persons' Association of Bhutan. Some of the 2017 equipment was sent to Draktsho Vocational Training Centre for the Disabled, in East Bhutan, to be used by their pupils.

Grants to Draktsho for specialised training for its teachers, and to acquire equipment for their student-run bakery in Thimphu.

Maternity clothing and equipment to be distributed in East Bhutan by the UK charity Opening Your Heart to Bhutan.

Primary Health Care, and Basic Health Units in remote areas by funding a handbook 'Where there is no doctor' and supplying Braille watches.

Donation for traditional instruments for the Blind Musicians' Training Centre, whose musicians perform at both private and public events.
