The Bhutan Society Trust Fund

About the Trust

The Bhutan Society Trust Fund (The Trust) is a small UK charity (Charity number 1041260) established in 1994 to support good causes in the Kingdom of Bhutan.

Since 1994, the Trust has provided small, focused grants for a range of projects. These grants have supported groups of adults and children living with disabilities or in disadvantaged circumstances; and projects focusing on education, health, ancient building, cultural and horticulture. Some of these projects have been delivered in partnership with not-for-profit organisations within Bhutan.

The activities of the Trust are controlled and run by its trustees and are independent of the Bhutan Society of the United Kingdom (The Society). The Trust always welcomes donations from members of The Society and, occasionally, invites The Society and its members to contribute to specific projects.
